With over 3,000 employees across the United States and Canada, Peraton is headquartered in Herndon, VA. Peraton serves many markets worldwide including space, communications, defense, intelligence, cyber, and homeland security.
On June 17, 2019, Peraton announced its acquisition of Solers, Inc. Founded in 1998, Solers is an innovative Information Technology (IT) solutions provider to the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), other federal agencies, and commercial entities. Peraton was awarded a $219M Contract by the Future Commercial SATCOM Acquisition (FCSA) program to provide commercial satellite communications services for the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) on March 3, 2020. Peraton is responsible for providing mission partners with rapid acquisition of commercial satellite services. Specifically, Peraton will provide communications services leveraging satellites and emerging technologies from across multiple satellite fleet operators. Peraton has already served as a consultative mission partner to AFRICOM for over 10 years and currently supports them through separate contract vehicles and industry partners.
