AMERGINT is a technology development company based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. AMERGINT specializes in the space industry and has delivered satellite test systems, innovative software, and processor components to major companies and government agencies. The company’s product line includes modems, front-end processors, payload processors, satellite test systems, software data recorders, and range and launch site systems. AMERGINT has partnered with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC), Air Force Space Command (AFSPC), NASA, and NOAA to design, test, and utilize a softFEP (software front-end processor).
The softFEP is a high-rate payload processor which has been deployed on the International Space Station and DigitalGlobe’s WorldView satellites. softFEP has been used to support the launch systems of Atlas and Delta launch vehicles and is an integral device in several DoD programs. AMERGINT has datasheets and a brochure for their softFEP devices on their website for user review.
The satTRAC is a modem/baseband unit designed for signal conversion for RF and 70MHz, digital intermediate frequency (IF) over ethernet, and waveform-specific processing. satTRAC handles TT&C links for the GPS constellation and is used in various other government applications. More information on satTRAC can be found on AMERGINT’s documentation page.
