Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) is the region of space surrounding earth that lies in between low Earth orbit (LEO) and geostationary orbit (GEO). This is the region between 2,000 and 35,786 km above the Earth’s surface. Satellites in this region are mainly used for navigation and communication purposes.
