CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES
Overview
CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES SA (CTEC) is a high tech SME with a headquarters close to Grenoble, France. The company has more than 50 employees working on researching and developing innovative technologies including smart actuators, smart sensors, mechatronic systems, detection systems as well as hosting technological training courses for those who wish to improve their knowledge on said technologies. The laboratories at CTEC are equipped with a complete library of engineering software and specialized measurement apparatus allowing them to move quicker from specifications to a completely optimized design and evaluated prototypes. Their mechatronic products have wide applications for precise and rapid actuation, optics, instrumentation, and control of vibrations in the fields of aerospace and other industries. [1]
Optronics
CTEC designs innovating and high-end industrial vision solutions for optoelectronic system manufacturers using CCD & CMOS cameras, thermal imaging, and cooled & uncooled IR cameras for applications such as automated inspection, surveillance & security, night vision, thermal imaging, and FSO communication.
Their customers in the optronics market are looking for mechatronic components able to improve the performances of their embedded vision system in terms of image quality and light-weight structure, often operating in harsh environments. Since 1998, CEDRAT TECHNOLOGIES has been developing compact, dynamic, and precise XY piezo & magnetic stages; piezo Tip Tilt platforms; and fast steering mirrors as well as linear piezo motorized stages. Some of the functions CTEC provides their customers include: micro-scanning, pixel shift, dithering functions for image resolution enhancement; optical imaging, laser or line of sight (LOS) stabilization & anti-shaking or anti-blurring functions for precise target pointing & better image quality; and autofocus functions for continuous correction of the image focus.
